Polaris of Pain TSG
The NPCs were tougher than CatGang, who we defeated at 2 jump points
From Pyro to Nyx we fought and destroyed the Cat Gang, using the Polaris as an anchor. We arrived at the Tactical Strike group with just a couple fighters and the Polaris.
That was the true struggle. The Polaris suffered only minor damage though several fighters were lost.
There were successes during the station incursion, where a Terrapin Medic transported a squad with Super Heavy armour to clear the facility; a task completed with ruthless efficiency.
The limited fighter coverage, operating in isolated space, became our shortfall, and Wade was lost to the Vanduul.
Whilst we could not save him, we did avenge him. A salvo of 24 size 10 torpedoes demolished the Vanduul Mauler.
There was no time to revel though - we quickly rerouted across a system and 140Gm to reach the Stanton Pyro Jump Point, where CatGang were harrassing our allies once again.
And again, they scattered to the wind once we arrived in force.
